Where to buy in south Tenerife
Most of the property we sell is in the south and south-west of Tenerife, where the weather is driest. Here is a short guide to the main areas, with a link to what is for sale in each.
Adeje
The town the municipality is named after, inland from Costa Adeje. Our office is in Adeje.
Adeje Golf
The area around Golf Costa Adeje, in the hills above Costa Adeje. Our golf courses map has the details of the course.
Costa Adeje
The upmarket end of the south coast, running from Fañabé through Playa del Duque to La Caleta. It has some of the island's best-known hotels, good beaches, shopping and restaurants, and the Siam Park water park. Golf Costa Adeje is in the hills above.
Torviscas and Puerto Colón
Between Fañabé and Playa de las Américas. Puerto Colón marina is the base for many boat trips, including whale and dolphin watching. A popular area for both living and letting.
Playa de las Américas
The south's largest resort, with a long promenade, beaches, bars and restaurants, and Golf Las Américas on its edge. Central for getting around the south.

Los Cristianos
A former fishing village that has grown into a busy town, with an old centre, the beaches of Los Cristianos and Las Vistas, and the port for ferries to La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro. A promenade links it to Playa de las Américas.
Palm Mar
A quiet residential area beside the Malpaís de Rasca nature reserve, with a seafront promenade and everyday shops and restaurants within walking distance.
Costa del Silencio and Las Galletas
Two of the quieter resorts in the south. Las Galletas keeps its fishing-village character and has a marina and small beaches.

Golf del Sur and Amarilla Golf
Two neighbouring golf resorts in San Miguel de Abona, close to the sea and to Tenerife South airport. Amarilla has its own marina.
El Médano and La Tejita
A laid-back town known for windsurfing and kitesurfing, with long natural beaches. La Tejita beach lies beside the Montaña Roja nature reserve.
Callao Salvaje and Playa Paraíso
Coastal areas west of Costa Adeje, quieter than the main resorts, with sea views towards La Gomera.
Los Gigantes and Puerto Santiago
On the west coast beneath the Los Gigantes cliffs, with a marina, a small beach and a relaxed pace.
