Tenerife Golf Information

Playing golf on one of Tenerife's 7 courses you are assured of some of the world's finest golf and finest weather.
The golfing high season here in Canary Islands is generally from 1st October until 30th April, when other European destinations are becoming colder.
In Tenerife the pro and amateur golfer can play 365 days of the year, taking advantage of Tenerife's year round sunny, dry hot climate.
Golfers can be challenged on a variety of courses due to the fantastic infrastructure in place, different courses can be tried without having to move accommodation.
In South Tenerife there are two 18-hole, two 27-hole and two 9-hole golf courses.

Abama Golf Resort

Abama Golf Resort has only been open a few months. Spectacularly set amongst 25,000 trees and tropical palms.
This 18-hole, par-72 layout is winding, tactical and impressively adorned by 22 lakes.
Although new, it has already hosted the European Tour.
This is the course chosen by Bill Clinton, upon his visit.

Amarilla Golf

The Donald Steel designed Amarilla golf course played host to the Volvo Tenerife Open in 1990.
A challenging course for high and low handicap golfers alike, offering fantastic Atlantic Ocean and mountain views.
The most impressive hole is the 5th where you must hit over the sea to reach the green.

Costa Adeje Golf

Costa Adeje Golf course makes excellent use of the natural terrain of the area.
There are spectacular views over the sea to the island of La Gomeraand the mountain range of Adeje.
It has equal numbers of par 3s, par 4s and par 5s.
The prestigious 2003 Spanish Open was held here.
Costa Adeje offers a first class layout in a beautiful location.

Golf Las Americas

Golf las Americas is situated overlooking Playa De Las Americas with views towards the sea.
The course provides a challenging test, with water coming into play on no less than 8 holes.

Los Palos

Los Palos is a shorter length course located near Palm Mar and the Canarian fishing village of Las Galletas.
Ideal challenge for all levels of golfer, amateur or professional.
Golf Las Americas is set amongst palm trees, banana plantations and exotic planting.
Green fees are amongst the lowest in Tenerife.
There are 9 holes, 914 yds, par 27.






Golf del Sur

Golf del Sur consists of three loops of 9 holes running close to the sea, which can be played in any combination.
The course has lush greens, dotted with black sand bunkers, palm trees and giant cacti.
The course has hosted several PGA European Tour events.

Links / South: Par 71; Length 6050 yards
